ECD has developed a Thermal Quality Management Guideline and Check List to foster dialog between the OEM and Volume manufacture about the effect soldering process temperatures have on ALL of the parts being soldered (the board, the components, the solder, etc). It points out to both the OEM and Volume Manufacture the issues and suggests steps to developing a program of thermal quality management.
